Electric City Car

Innosys Delft BV has the ambition to spearhead the design of a small city car which is designed from the ground up to be an electric vehicle. In contrast to popular belief, city cars are not limited to city transport, they must be well equipped to travel over longer distances. What makes a city car a city car is that they are especially adapted for city travel. Their small size allows it to navigate the tight streets with ease, whilst leaving ample space for passengers and personal cargo.

Retrofitting existing vehicles to run on electric power is a demonstration of the adaptability of electric powered drive. Designing a car from the ground up as an electric vehicles will allow the car to make full use of the advantages of electric power.
